My Story: Meet Gloria O’Neal

I am Gloria O’Neal—a wife, mother, grandmother (Nana), sister, aunt, cousin, friend, and sister-in-Christ. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Behavioral Science and spent over 20 years serving with the California Department of Corrections, retiring as a Parole Agent in 2010.

After retirement, I felt a deep calling to serve in a more personal and meaningful way. I began volunteering at the UC Davis Medical Center’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), where I cherished the opportunity to care for God’s Precious Jewels—newborns. This experience inspired me to expand my ministry, and I became a volunteer chaplain at the Medical Center. Today, I continue to serve as a member of the UC Davis Chaplaincy Board and the Sacramento Juvenile Justice Chaplaincy Board.

Caring and Sharing
Support Group

I established the Caring and Sharing Women’s Support Group in January 2000, a community that has thrived for 25 years, providing encouragement, faith, and connection to countless women. Leading this group has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.

Supporting others has always been my life’s purpose. As a young girl, I became my mother’s confidant, helping her manage the challenges of raising a large family. This role of offering care, understanding, and compassion naturally extended to my grandmother, friends, coworkers, and even strangers.

This lifelong passion led me to Life Coaching, where I focus on helping women navigate grief, cope with life’s challenges, and find healing and restoration. My journey has been one of faith, service, and love, and I am grateful to God for guiding me every step of the way.

My Values

I have a deep heart for encouraging, supporting, and coaching women through life’s toughest challenges. I’ve experienced profound loss, including the death of my baby girl, parents, grandparents, and several other loved ones. Through it all, I’ve found comfort in my faith, and I know that God calls us to comfort others with the same compassion He has shown us. My life’s purpose is to help women of all ages find their path to healing, recovery, and growth after loss.
